When J.W. was a freshman in high school he was asked to write and sing a hook for a local Louisiana rap artist. The song turned out to be such a success that it helped launch J.W. into the limelight and jumpstarted his professional career as a recoding artist.
Having only started his career at the young age of 15, he has been propelling rapidly through the industry establishing a name and place for himself. Within 3 years J.W. has won numerous talent showcases that allowed him the opportunity to open up for major artists such as Lil Wayne, Missy, The Pack, Fabolous to Monica. He has even had the honor of receiving a National ASCAP Award. Like a glistening diamond, J.W. will continue to stay solid and shine for his fans through his music.
